A mobile app for your existing system

Most of the work doesn’t happen at a desk. The admin still does.

Whatever happens in the field, in the warehouse or at the customer gets typed in again by someone in the evening or the next day. A mobile app captures the data where it is created – with a photo, a signature and a timestamp – and it goes straight into the system.

The journey of a job

The same job, done two ways – an illustrative example. The difference isn’t the phone; it’s when the data reaches the system.

  1. 08:00 A printed work sheetYour colleague heads out with paper.
  2. 12:10 Filled in by hand, signed on paperThe photos stay on your colleague’s own phone.
  3. next day Someone types it in at the officeMeanwhile it can get lost, be illegible or incomplete.
  4. days later An invoice, once all data is thereThe money arrives as late as the data does.
  1. 08:00 The job on the phoneAddress, customer details and history – one tap away.
  2. 12:10 Photo, on-screen signature, timestampEven without signal; it syncs as soon as there is a connection.
  3. 12:11 Already in the systemThe office and the manager see it immediately.
  4. same day InvoiceNo retyping, no waiting.

The same work – the data just doesn’t wait days in the glovebox.

Six situations where a phone pays for itself

  • „We record the same data twice.”

Once, on site – the rest of the system works from that.

    → No retyping afterwards.

  • „Whether the work was done is disputed.”

Photo, signature, time and place on every work sheet.

    → Fewer disputes, faster settlement.

  • „We don’t know where a colleague is with the job.”

The status updates automatically as the work progresses.

→ Management sees it without phoning around.

  • „Nobody reads the important e-mail.”

Push notifications for what is truly urgent.

→ The message reaches people where they are.

  • „There’s no signal in the warehouse.”

    Offline mode with automatic sync.

→ Work doesn’t stop because of the connection.

  • „Partners order by phone.”

Ordering in a few taps, with the partner’s own prices.

    → Fewer calls, fewer mistakes.

We don’t build a new system. We add a new interface to yours.

The app builds on the system you already run: it uses the same data, rules and permissions. We don’t rewrite the business logic, so there are never two different truths on the web and on the phone.

  • One codebase for iOS and Android
  • A versioned API between your system and the app
  • Offline mode and push notifications
  • Permissions carry over – nobody sees more on the phone than on the web
  • The store account and the source code are yours

Not everything belongs on a phone

The question is always: which three actions happen most often where there is no computer? Those go on the phone – the rest stays on the web, where it is more comfortable.

What goes on the phone

  • Task list and work sheets
  • Photos, signatures, barcodes
  • Status updates and timestamps
  • Stock checks and ordering
  • Push notifications
  • A quick overview for managers

What stays on the web

  • Master data and pricing rules
  • Commission and permission settings
  • Large tables and reports
  • Invoicing and imports

Four stages to an installable app

  1. 01

    Mobile API and login

    weeks 1–2

A secure connection to your system, with two-factor or biometric login.

  2. 02

    First installable version

    weeks 3–4

The three most important actions in your team’s hands – from here, feedback comes from real use.

  3. 03

    Field features

    weeks 5–7

Offline mode, sync, push notifications, photos and signatures.

  4. 04

    Store release and training

    week 8

Release on the App Store and Google Play under your account, with a short training.

Frequently asked questions

Isn’t a mobile-friendly website enough?

Often it is – and we will tell you honestly. You need an app for offline use, camera and barcode scanning, push notifications or biometric login, or when your team uses it many times a day.

What about less tech-savvy colleagues?

If an action needs more than four taps, we designed it badly. Training typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Does it work on personal phones?

Yes. When someone leaves or loses the device, access can be revoked remotely and company data does not stay on the phone.

What happens without signal?

The app keeps working and syncs automatically as soon as there is a connection.

Which technology do you use?

We choose per project: a single-codebase approach (e.g. Flutter or React Native) for iOS and Android at once, or native when the task requires it.

What does maintenance involve?

The stores raise their requirements every year and certificates expire. A mobile app therefore needs regular maintenance – we plan it upfront and transparently.

Who owns the source code?

You do, as well as the store account. If you later want to work with someone else, you can.

Let’s start with the three actions that happen most often.

In one conversation we will find the workflow where a mobile app pays off soonest.
